Hey there! Welcome to my website! I’m so glad you stopped by. I’m Dana Lynn and I’m so excited to be here. I have wanted to have a website to share my stories, experiences, and current progress about my life and journey in fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Now, when I say fitness, I don’t only mean the physical aspect of it. Doing the workouts in the gym, getting your cardio in and proper diet is of course a huge part of a fitness lifestyle. However, in my opinion, the mental aspect is just as important as everything else. When I look at the pictures of all the fit bodies in the magazines or the bodybuilders and fitness/figure girls on stage, I not only see beautiful fit, muscular bodies but I also know that no matter what those contestants place or how happy go lucky those models on the pages seem, they all have a few key characteristics in common. Those characteristics are: consistency, dedication, determination and sacrifice. No matter who you are, what you look like, how old you are or where you come from, if you want it bad enough and you adopt those characteristics to your everyday life in whatever you want to do, you can make it happen!

I also want you to know that I am a real person! I’m probably just like you in many ways. I’m not here claming to be a perfect example or specimen of the fitness lifestyle. I love fitness and being healthy but it sure doesn’t come like second nature to me. I have to work really hard at it all the time. I don’t love doing cardio and I certainly love just about every food on the planet that’s bad for you! But, I’ll tell you what else I love. I love feeling good. I love looking good and feeling healthy and lets be honest, what it takes to be that way isn’t always as fun as eating a huge piece of birthday cake or sharing a large pizza. Ok, it’s NEVER as fun! I’m just here to tell you about me whether it’s about my strengths or my weaknesses. I can also tell you that one consistent thing in my life is the fact that I am always working and striving to be a better ME! If that means I can help others along my journey then that makes it even more worthwhile.

Throughout my website, in my journal and the various articles I’ll write, you will always hear me speaking a lot about balance. That is something I am always striving for in my life. If you look at my logo it actually has a special meaning to me. The center with the star represents balance and harmony while the arrows coming out of the sides represent the extremes in opposite directions. I have been to both extremes many times. I have teetered up and down much like a see saw at the park but now-a-days, I am always aiming for that star. BALANCE.

Now that I have hopefully set the right tone for my website and given you a small taste of what I’m all about, I hope you come back and visit often! I will be making updates all the time.
